Sanur is the Bali so many families discover on their second or third trip — a calm, sheltered stretch of coast with a genuine, unhurried neighbourhood feel. The beachside path runs the full length of the strip, completely traffic-free, so little ones can toddle along it and older kids can hire a bike and roam. Spend your mornings at the pool, your afternoons on the beach path, and your evenings wandering to a local warung or the Sindhu Night Market for something properly local. It’s a little further from the airport than Nusa Dua, but the relaxed pace makes up for every extra minute.
