Ubud is a different side of Bali entirely – inland, jungle-clad and full of culture, a world away from the beach resorts on the coast. Spend your days at the pool or exploring rice terraces and temples, and your evenings watching a traditional dance performance or wandering the markets. There’s no beach here, so it works best as part of a split stay alongside a few days by the coast. It’s the furthest area from the airport, but the change of pace is exactly why families come.
